Book of Mormon

Social media is a powerful tool we can use it for so many good things, specially when we share something uplifting, positive or special for us  with our family, friends that at far away and  people that we love. It’s been a year that I took a break from FB and decided to only keep my Instagram account and our family blog. In 2018 & this year 2019 we had such a great opportunity to be part of something so special and close to my heart because it’s about sharing my believes and the love that I have for my ancestors. As many of you know I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter Days Saints. Belle, Isaac and I were part of filming of the Book of Mormon videos. The Book of Mormon it’s a book that was written here in the Americas and testified of our Savior Jesus Christ just like the Bible in the other continent. I love the Book of Mormon so much because it was written for us in this time. I can feel the love of God to me through this book. I invite all of you to watch these

Sunday to Remember

Image
A Sunday to remember, both of my boys got to speak in Sacrament meeting about the blessings of the temple. They both did a great job with the preparation they put on their talks and delivered them with such a sweet spirit. They have set goals to attend the temple often with their friends. It’s always such a sweet feeling to see them come to the temple while I am working there. I am so grateful to see them grow loving the temple as much as I do and have a firm testimony of the Savior and the blessings that they can receive serving in his house of the Lord. It was great to hear how they prepare to attend the temple and remember the legacy of their grandparents sacrifice to be able to be sealed in the temple many years ago. When the boys told me about their talks Isaac was having a hard time. He was very nervous and said that he couldn’t do it. Then he said I can’t talk on Sunday. I said that’s ok that it was his choice and he will miss a good opportunity. I asked him to text and tell th

I am kind of Sad that I haven't been updating our family blog. All the pictures and memory we took was on my Instagram of the Peruvian mom. I need to be better to keep our journal here at the blog. I really want to keep our fun memories of some trips this year. One of them was back in July in Puerto Rico with all our family. It was so fun specially with my Wright Crew. We spend all our days with our friends the Bradshaw’s. They live in Puerto Rico and they know where to go and all the fun places to visit. This is what I said in my Instagram account. “ Puerto Rico tiene nuestro corazón. ❤️🌴 🇵🇷Just some of my favorite pictures and memories from our week in Puerto Rico, la Isla del Encanto. We loved spending time at the beach, waterfalls, sand castles, paddle boarding, snorkeling, watching the kids spending hours playing in the ocean, our dear friends @goneexploringlife and new friends💙 Fresh fruit, pinchos, mofongo and bakery’s at island are the best, but what I loved the most w

Liahona Magazine and Temple tour

Today Saturday was a great day. I woke up earlier than usual to go to temple. Last Saturday my temple friends told me that we can tour the temple before our shift. I arrived at 4:30 am and I did not see any of my temple friends. I went to look for them in different changing areas and I couldn’t find them. I was kind of sad that I came earlier and I wouldn’t be able to go to the tour. Brother Bush a temple worker supervisor said well “who wants to take a tour with me” I said I would love to go and another new temple worker came with us. We went to the basement and back stage in the celestial room. We also went to special room by the Celestial room where they said that Jesus Christ appeared to the prophet Lorenzo Snow. I noticed that entering that room, we can find more room it was kind of like a another new temple inside the temple so many special rooms even a sealing room. Such beautiful room with a golden clock and beautiful craftsmanship, I saw many spiral staircases and some of the

Book of Mormon Videos

Belle and Nephi  In 2018 I send pictures of my kids to LDS casting I heard they were looking for extras and actors for a new project the Book of Mormon. As received an e-mail asking me if Belle was available to participate as the daughter of Sam Nephi’s brother. They asked for more pictures and they gave me dates of filming. I was sad that those dates we were planning a trip to Europe to visit some friends in Vienna but no question about me not going to stay and support Belle. Chris left with our boys to Europe and I stayed for a week of filming. Such a great experience getting to know the actors and the crew was fantastic with the little kids and us moms. We had early and late nights filming and Belle was so great to do it. It was hard work but so worth it. In hard days late filming when kids were tired and cold she will say “I have to stay and support my family” she was a trooper and enjoy the attention of the filming crew. She made new friends like her movie mom, dad and siblin
