Liahona Magazine and Temple tour

Today Saturday was a great day. I woke up earlier than usual to go to temple. Last Saturday my temple friends told me that we can tour the temple before our shift. I arrived at 4:30 am and I did not see any of my temple friends. I went to look for them in different changing areas and I couldn’t find them. I was kind of sad that I came earlier and I wouldn’t be able to go to the tour. Brother Bush a temple worker supervisor said well “who wants to take a tour with me” I said I would love to go and another new temple worker came with us. We went to the basement and back stage in the celestial room. We also went to special room by the Celestial room where they said that Jesus Christ appeared to the prophet Lorenzo Snow. I noticed that entering that room, we can find more room it was kind of like a another new temple inside the temple so many special rooms even a sealing room. Such beautiful room with a golden clock and beautiful craftsmanship, I saw many spiral staircases and some of the circle windows. I loved every single minute there I definitely want to be serving in the temple specially the salt lake temple. Later the day we took Belle's friend for lunch and stop by the store Seagull book. I noticed that the Ensign magazine was printed. I always like to look for the messages and specially the pictures in case I recognized someone. I remember last women’s conference a kind photographer was taking pictures of us and I thought maybe there’s a picture of us. Last women’s conference was special we went without tickets and we got in. It was 1st time for Belle at the conference center for women’s conference. The talks were beautiful the spirit was strong. How grateful I was to be there with my daughter. To my surprise when I turned the page of President Eyring’s message I found a pictures of us. We were not looking at the camera but we were smiling and happy. I loved that picture because I am with beautiful daughter and the message is one of my favorites “Covenant Women in Partnership with God” how grateful I am for this powerful promised that if I keep my baptism covenants, temple covenants and seek daily to have the spirit I am promise to receive help from my Savior. As a daughter of God, wife, mother, temple worker, minister sister I can be better and do better. 💜
