PeruRican’s 2019
I am kind of Sad that I haven't been updating our family blog. All the pictures and memory we took was on my Instagram of the Peruvian mom. I need to be better to keep our journal here at the blog. I really want to keep our fun memories of some trips this year. One of them was back in July in Puerto Rico with all our family. It was so fun specially with my Wright Crew. We spend all our days with our friends the Bradshaw’s. They live in Puerto Rico and they know where to go and all the fun places to visit. This is what I said in my Instagram account. “ Puerto Rico tiene nuestro corazón. ❤️🌴 🇵🇷Just some of my favorite pictures and memories from our week in Puerto Rico, la Isla del Encanto. We loved spending time at the beach, waterfalls, sand castles, paddle boarding, snorkeling, watching the kids spending hours playing in the ocean, our dear friends @goneexploringlife and new friends💙 Fresh fruit, pinchos, mofongo and bakery’s at island are the best, but what I loved the most was creating precious memories with my Wright crew. Some days I will get tired of listening of Reggaeton at the beach but I remembered my childhood was the same filled of music, dance, great food and a lots of fun loving people. That’s why Puerto Rico has our heart” traveling with kids is not easy specially long hours but my kids know the drill. Jared, Isaac and Belle they are prepared for long our flights specially red eye flights. Isaac doesn’t like to fly but the motivation to go to PR was to see his buddy John Bradshaw. Ryder is hard because he so little and active but comparing to other 2 year olds he is easy to entertain. We arrived in San Juan and it was hot and humid we were so tired and hengry (tired and hungry) getting the car rental and bags took a good couple hours. We drove around Isla verde, Chris is not a big fun of downtown because it’s so crowded and traffic was bad around the time. It was a Sunday and it was busy we found a place call Peru Rican we were excited to tried it. We ordered and waited for over an hour my poor kids were dying. Island time is not fun specially when you are starving. Finally food arrived and it was ok I was expecting something more wow for the the long wait. We drove more than one hour to Ysabella were we were going to stay in a beautiful home by Aguadilla. Our friends were exploring the island and we want to rest and enjoy the house. We ended going to Crash boat that evening and I remember how crowded it was so many people and the music was so load. I remember how I wish we didn’t missed church and sacrament that morning. We missed church for 30 minutes in San Juan. The feeling at the beach that Sunday it was not relaxing or the typical Sunday afternoon I asked Chris to go back to the house and spend time there. The rest of the week was fun our friends knew about all the fun beaches and waterfalls to go. Crash boat, Borinquen, Etc. We also celebrated the 4th of July in the Military Base and it was really cool.
