Temple Blessings

. Salt Lake Temple Devotional. We had the opportunity to attend a special Temple Devotional for Temple workers. The special meeting was in the Solemn Assembly room in the 5th floor of the temple. I was able to see this special room once before when I volunteered to clean the temple. Chris my mom and dad was able to be there. We left 2 hours early I heard it gets full and sometimes we don’t get to be in that special room if it fills up. The stairs to get up there is by the baptistry and are spiral stairs. When you enter the room the sacred room is like a peace of heaven. Such a special place where our prophet and his apostles get together. I noticed that someone in the choir was trying to get my attention it was sister Janice Rampton, she is one of my dearest sisters from our old ward she was my Relief Society President and one of those friends that inspired you to be better. The temple choir was heaven and once the room filled up the temple President and his wife Enter the room President Wixon, his first councilor and wife, Second Councilor Pres Jeppson and wife and President Stevenson and wife all in white. The spirit was so strong that tears were constantly filling my eyes. I saw members in the choir and audience sharing tears too. I learned that we are 3400 temple workers and 12 workers over 90 years old when they asked them stand I felt very strongly that I want to be like them and dedicate my life to work in the temple. It’s been such blessing in my life to work in the baptistry the feelings and confirmation of the spirit telling my heart that I am standing in the house of the Lord. The temple is going to close for 4 years in December 28, 2019 for renovations. I wonder what I am going to do for four years? I meet so many wonderful workers that come from far away and they had serving for many years and it was kind of sad news. President Stevenson said that how the temple needs renovations and changes are going to happen for the better we can make the same changes in this 4 years and make renovations and changes in our life. I love that! I can be so better and be better. My boys spoke in church two Sundays ago and share how coming to the temple to do baptism blessed their life. I noticed how great is to see them with their friends while I worked there. It’s so special to see them baptized each other and performed the baptism for ancestors. My favorite part is to wrapped them with towels and give them a hug when they come out of the water. Isaac menciones that every Saturday when I come home and come extra happy and I know it’s because the sprit of the temple is coming home with me. I like this quote”When God directs us to do one thing, He often has many purposes in mind. Family history and temple work is not only for the dead but blesses the living as well. Family history and temple work provided the power to heal that which needed healing” I am excited about my shift tomorrow I get to go earlier at 4:30 am to have a tour in other parts of the temple by a temple worker. ~ some pictures of the temple and Women’s conference with Belle.
